Scott is said to be leaving Nina to strike out on his own , although this is yet to be confirmed. Nina has named Ezra Dabah as its new CEO, effectively immediately. Most recently, Dabah was the chairman and CEO of The Children’s Place Retail Stores, a role he held from 1992 to 2007.

“Nina has been a leader in the fashion footwear industry for almost 60 years,” said Dabah. “I look forward to being a part of the Nina team as we position the brand for continued fashion leadership and profitable growth.”

Stanley and Mike Silverstein said they looked forward to Dabah’s fresh voice. “Ezra brings a proven mix of leadership, merchandising expertise and extensive sourcing skills,” the Silversteins said in a joint statement. “His passion for and success in growing companies and their brands will be invaluable to Nina as we move forward.”
